Careers for Persons with Disabilities
In 2009, thanks to a grant from the University of South Florida, Vincent House opened its Career & Learning Center to help persons with disabilities embark on successful careers.
Vincent House believes that educational achievement and career placement are the means to a productive and fulfilling life. Through a highly personalized approach, our Career Coaches assist our clients with exploring, discovering and pursuing employment goals.
Funded through Florida’s Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), adults with disabilities, including Vincent House members, are eligible to receive services at our Career & Learning Center. Interested applicants must first request vocational rehabilitation services with their area DVR Office. Once approved for DVR services, applicants can then request a referral to Vincent House.
